Scoringlive Male Athlete of the Week - Jordan Donahue Varsity Baseball

OurVarsity Baseball team took us on an exciting ride ending their magical season with a 17-6-0 record.  Falling short during the 1 round of regular season play they had an uphill battle during the 2nd round double elimination round.  After defeating St. Francis four times during the 2nd round (and 9 times total for the season) our baseball team was awarded the lone state berth and crowned the ILH DII Champions.  This also marked the first time in Damien history that our baseball team has made it to the State Tournament.

We played tough during the 2017 HHSAA Wally Yonamine Baseball State Championship making it to the Championship game against 3-time State Champion, Kauai High.  We lost the game with an ending score of 5-4.  A hard loss but 2nd place DII in the State, in our first showing in the State Tournament, is an awesome accomplishment!

Jordan Donahue, freshman, was awarded the ILH Co-MVP of the Year, while our Coach, Timo Donahue was awarded with ILH Coach of the Year.

We are excited for next season!
