And rummage they did!
The 2nd Annual Giant Rummage Sale was again a success and helped to add much needed capital campaign funds.
Not only were there personal and household treasures for sale, but also $5 plate lunches and hot malasadas prepared and sold by cafeteria manager Albert Cabatingan, his staff, and volunteers. On this hot and humid day ice-cold bottled water and soft drinks were also available.
A big mahalo goes out to all the families who donated items for sale and to all those who came to shop. Kudos to all the volunteers and service clubs who helped set up the day before—on a holiday, no less—and who helped at the sale and the clean up after it ended.
The residual items left at the end of the sale were bought by a thrift-store chain and donated to charity.
