Welcome to Damien Memorial
Damien Memorial School is a private Catholic college preparatory school in Honolulu, Hawaii, serving students in grades 6–12. As the second largest co-educational Catholic schools in the state, Damien provides a rigorous academic program rooted in faith, leadership, and service.
Founded in 1962 and sponsored by the Congregation of Christian Brothers, Damien was established as an all-boys school to meet the growing need for Catholic secondary education in Hawaiʻi. Today, the school continues that mission by forming young men and women who are prepared for college, career, and lives of purpose and service.
Guided by our Catholic identity and inspired by the legacy of Saint Damien of Molokaʻi, our students lives by the motto Viriliter Age meaning to Live Courageously. We challenge our students to act responsibly, respectful, and community minded in all that they do.
