The 68' class reunion week is scheduled for October 16 to 21, 2018 at the California Hotel in Las Vegas
For Classmates living in Hawaii,
The Committee is working with Vacations Hawaii for a five (5) night package leaving Honolulu on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 and returning on Sunday, October 21, 2018.
- Roundtrip air from Honolulu to Las Vegas
If coming from a neighbor island they can make that additional air arrangement for you.
- 5 night’s hotel accommodation at California Hotel
- Roundtrip airport/hotel/airport transfer in Las Vegas
- Meal coupons
- Applicable taxes
The price for this package has not been provided to us as yet; however, anticipate receiving the information in February 2018.
If you would like to be included in our block of air and hotel, please let us know as soon as possible. A $150.00 non-refundable per person (based on double occupancy) is needed at the time of your request. Requests for this package (with deposit) will be accepted until the end of January 2018. We have twelve (12) classmates and their guest that have paid their deposit
In the event you request to be part of the Vacations Hawaii package on or after February 1, 2018, confirmation of your request will be based on availability.
Alumni traveling on their own to reunion:
If you plan to travel to Las Vegas on your own, and wish to stay at the California Hotel, contact the hotel directly to book your reservation (www.thecal.com or 800-634-6225). To qualify for the Kama’aina package, you will need to provide your Hawaii birth certificate or current Hawaii driver license or state ID.
For your planning purposes the schedule of events is as follows:
- Wednesday 10/17/18 - Let’s Get Reacquainted – Hospitality Room
- Thursday 10/18/18 - Reunion Dinner and Program
- Friday 10/19/18 - Indoor Mini Golf Tournament @ Rio Hotel http://kiss.monsterminigolf.com
Pricing for these events will be determined shortly and will be based on the number attendees for each event. Guests are invited to all events.
To offset cost for our reunion (which will benefit all attendees) we will be doing a Huli Huli Chicken Fundraiser on March 3, 2018 at Ben Parker Elementary School in Kaneohe. We are asking each classmate to buy or sell a minimum of 10 tickets. Cost for each ticket is $8.00 for ½ chicken. (We will also be selling plate lunches on site for $12.00.) If you do not live on Oahu, you can buy the tickets for your family members. Committee members will be in contact with you shortly.
