Donating appreciated securities is a powerful way to give. When you transfer stocks, bonds, or mutual funds directly to Damien Memorial School:

It’s a smart way to support our mission while maximizing your tax savings.

If you are age 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free donation directly from your IRA to Damien Memorial School. This type of gift can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) if you are age 73 or older, and it can reduce your taxable income, even if you don't itemize deductions.

To make a QCD gift:
Contact your IRA plan administrator and request a direct transfer to Damien Memorial School. While QCDs don’t qualify for a charitable deduction, they allow you to give in a way that lowers your overall tax burden.
