On February 22nd, Damien Memorial School joined the national effort to fight bullying in schools. We are aware that the world can be a negative place sometimes, lowering self esteem and causing bullying behavior. We hope to change that by bringing the issue to the forefront of our school, and opening up student dialogue about changes we can make to keep our campus safe from bullies.
Many anti-bullying activities took place today to support our effort. The Damien Ohana Project met this morning and offered their pledges to make Damien a bully free school.
