Founded in 1962, Damien is a fully accredited college preparatory school for young men and women in grades 6 through 12. We are part of the Edmund Rice School Network, a consortium of Catholic schools in the U.S., Canada and South America.

Admissions Information

  • Middle School (grades 6-8) = $13,310

    High School (grades 9-12) = $17,920

  • Prospective families are encouraged to submit an application for admissions before submitting an application for financial aid.

Our dedicated teachers, state-of- the-art facilities and small class sizes help students from all walks of life succeed. We feature Honors and Advanced Placement courses, along with extracurricular programs such as robotics, band, rocketry, speech and debate, forensics, 17 league sports and many intramural activities.

Along with helping students realize their academic potential, we promote their moral and character development. Accordingly, our students typically perform more than 20,000 hours of volunteer service annually.

In keeping with the mission of our sponsor, the Congregation of Christian Brothers, Damien educates students from all walks of life by maintaining one of the most affordable tuitions on Oahu. Many families receive financial aid from our school, 3rd party foundations, and generous alumni. Academic scholarships are also available.

Application Procedures

Have your parents sign the ACADEMIC RECORDS RELEASE FORM and give it to your current school's Main Office to process. They will send Damien a copy of your official school records.

  1. Complete an application for Admission (Online).

  2. Have TWO of your teachers complete the TEACHER REFERENCE REPORT (preferably English and Math) and have the teachers either email them to limos@damien.edu or mail it to the Damien Admissions Office. Be sure to complete the top portion of each recommendation before giving them to your teachers. A stamped envelope addressed to the Damien Admissions Office should be supplied to each teacher if they are going to send the references in via mail.

  3. Schedule an INTERVIEW with a member of the Admissions Committee. This interview will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about Damien and will provide us with the opportunity to meet you.. We will contact you to schedule an appointment after all other steps have been completed.
