FOUNDED IN 1962 BY THE EDMUND RICE CHRISTIAN BROTHERS, North American Province, Damien was incorporated in the State of Hawaii in 1968 as the “Congregation of Christian Brothers of Hawaii, Inc.” The school is recognized as a Catholic School by the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Honolulu.
