DAMIEN LU’AU 2019
Our annual lu’au will be on Sunday, April 7, 2019.
Damien Memorial School, under the new leadership of Bro. Brian Walsh, invites you to attend the 2019 Damien Luʻau from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 7. This year’s theme, “E kū haʻaheo e Kamiano,” means “Stand Proudly, Damien.” Come join us on campus for feasting and festivities and see what Damien pride is all about!
DONATIONS AND VOLUNTEERS
Aloha, Parents, Alumni and Friends of Damien,
As we make final preparations for the 2019 Damien Lu'au on Sunday, April 7, we ask for your help with decorations. Specifically, we need ti leaf, lawa`e, bird of paradise, heliconia, monstera, red ginger or any other floral decorations for tables, tents and the stage area. Please contact me directly if you can assist. We would prefer delivery of these items on Saturday morning, April 6.
Also, we still need volunteers from Friday, April 5, through Monday, April 8, for set up and break down. There are so many things to be done and your help would be greatly appreciated. If you haven't signed up, please click the links below to see what positions are available. Or if you can help in any other way, please contact me directly.
Online bidding for the silent auction starts at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 28. There are many attractive items to choose from this year. Look out for an email on Thursday with details on how to bid.
Lastly, if you haven't bought lu`au tickets, go to this link to purchase tickets or tables. You can also come to my office in the Welcome Center and buy tickets directly. Don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of this Damien tradition.
