Damien Memorial Launches the 25–26 School Year with Energy and Aloha

The first weeks of school have been nothing short of exciting here at Damien Memorial! From welcoming new Monarchs to rallying our athletic community, we’ve hit the ground running.

We started on July 29 with a warm Damien welcome at New Student Orientation. Smiles, high-fives, and a few nervous laughs quickly turned into new friendships as students toured campus, met teachers, and learned what it means to be part of the Damien ‘Ohana.

By August 4, the energy was electric for the first day of school. The day started with our teachers and staff greeting our students at our school’s entrance. As the day went by, our hallways were packed and filled with chatter about summer, sports, and what classes they had together. The school year had officially started.

On August 13, the entire school gathered for our Back-to-School Assembly — a spirited celebration planned and organized by our Student Government. It brought together students, faculty, and staff, during games and even a Students vs Teachers basketball game.

That same evening, the bleachers filled for our Parents & Student-Athletes Meeting, where families joined coaches to prepare for an exciting season ahead.

The school year is off to an amazing start, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for the Damien community!
