Congratulations to Ryan Dait-Truong – Harvard Book Award Recipient!

We are proud to celebrate one of our very own! On Wednesday, September 17, Damien senior Ryan Dait-Truong was honored with the prestigious Harvard Book Award, presented by Harvard alumnus Mufi Hannemann.

The Harvard Book Award is presented each year by Harvard University alumni associations to an outstanding high school juniors who demonstrates academic excellence, integrity, leadership, and service to others. Students are nominated by their schools, and the recognition not only honors past achievements but also inspires recipients to continue striving for excellence in their future endeavors.

Ryan is truly a joy and an asset to Damien Memorial School. With a remarkable 4.34 GPA, he has completed 10 honors courses and is currently enrolled in 4 AP classes. Beyond the classroom, Ryan embodies Damien’s values of service and leadership. He participates in campus clean-up projects, is a proud member of the National Honor Society, and dedicates his time to tutoring his classmates.
